Workshop Details

RP Innovations SG is proud to present this half day workshop on Photography and Videography.  This workshop will cover the basics of photography and videography, cinematic techniques to build creativity in your stories and; tips and tricks for street and night photography.

In addition, participants will learn to use the DJI OSMO during the practical session.

Most importantly, participants will put their skills into practice in Chinatown and compete to WIN fabulous prizes.


  1. Basic DSLR Handling
  2. Creative Aperture Bokeh
  3. Exposure Control and Colour
  4. Shot sizes, Angles and Composition
  5. Visual Continuity and Storytelling
  6. Tips and tricks on Street Photography
  7. Night Photography



  • No age limit
  • Participants who wish to enhance their skills in photography and videography

REGISTER early to avoid disappointment as each workshop is limited to 30 participants.  This workshop will be conducted on 30 Jan 2016 (Saturday) from 3pm to 10pm.

Our training team will contact you in due course once you have registered your interest with us at  Reservation is based on first come first served.

At the end of the workshop, participants are encourage to submit a photograph for a mini competition. The theme of the competition will be revealed on the day of the workshop.

First Prize :        $300

Second Prize:   $200

Third Prize:       $100


Rules and Regulations:

  1. All submission of photos must be in JPEG format with mini size of 3000px by 2000px @ 300dpi
  2. All submissions must reach us at by 23:59 02/02/2016 and be posted on
  3. By submitting the photo you are also giving full permission to RP Innovations SG to reproduce your photo in digital or in print without your prior consent regardless of whether you are a winner or not.
  4. Each participant is allowed to submit up to 2 photos for judging and only one photo can win the prize.
  5. Every photos shall be name is this format : [FULL NAME]_[TEL]_story[1/2].jpg
  6. Incorrect file naming will be disqualified from the competition.
  7. Judges decision will be final, and no petition will be entertained.
  8. Photographs will be judge based on:
    • Creativity
    • Quality of the photo (Sharpness and exposure)
    • Relevance to the given theme
